CONTENT GUIDELINES FOR DEALERS

xHP Pro Dealers may use the xHP logo and content published on our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram) for their purposes.

Please follow the guidelines below to ensure fair competition between dealers:

  • Users must be able to easily distinguish between a dealer page and our xHP Flashtool page. This applies to ANY social media platform and/or website.

  • Use of the xHP logo as a profile picture is not allowed.

  • Using the xHP logo or xHP content as the main image at the top of your Facebook/Social Media page is prohibited.

  • Phrases such as "xHP <<my_country, region etc.>>" or similar names for social media pages are not allowed.

  • Re-posts of our social media content must be recognisable as re-posts! Do not copy/share without your comment and message.

  • Reserving domains that contain "xHP", "xHP-flashtool" or similar phrases is strictly prohibited. Examples of undesirable domains include "xhp-germany.com", "xhp-flashtool.com" and "xhpflasher.com".

  • Using the name "xHP" or similar in your email address is also strictly forbidden.

xHP POLICIES FOR xHP PRO DEALERS

It is xHP policy that customers can come to the workshop (= “flashpoint”) of the xHP dealer of their choice to have their vehicle flashed on-site in a workshop by a professional tuner. The tuner has all the equipment and expertise, so the customer does not have to flash the car by himself.

Dealers use their own devices to log into the xHP app and flash their customers' cars. These devices should be used on-site in the workshop. Usually, five devices are enough for all workshop employees.

Regarding these points, remote flashing is NOT xHP policy! We limited the number of devices to 5 to prevent possible fraudulent behaviour.

Do not share your account information. If someone else flashes a car without you knowing using your account information, you will still have to pay for it as if you flashed it yourself.

If you own more than one workshop, you can open separate xHP Pro accounts in addition to the initial xHP Pro account. You can use five devices to flash for each xHP Pro account with its workshop. Contact us at support@xAutomotive.com if you have more than one flashpoint or have further questions.

Do NOT sell xHP products in your webshop. It is strictly against xHP policies that end users buy Dealer Credits. Customers should come to your workshop to have their car flashed, and they should pay you directly. You can purchase the xHP dealer credits from xHP via our website or the app.
You CAN use the xHP logo and content, but there must always be a clear distinction between the dealer and xHP pages.


xHP BACKEND FOR DEALERS

The backend is the central hub for downloading and managing your xHP Pro account, which can be accessed at http://pro.xhpflashtool.com.

Registration / First Steps

Information:

  • xHP Pro is only available to registered dealers and tuners.

  • The xHP App can be downloaded for Windows, ioS/Mac App Store or Android Google Play.

  • With the xHP App, you can connect to vehicles and unlock them after the registration process is complete and your account is unlocked.

Step 1: Sign up

  • Go to https://pro.xhpflashtool.com/pro/app/register or open the login in the app and enter the information. After you click on “Register,” you will receive an email asking you to confirm your contact data.

  • Confirm your data by clicking the link in the e-mail.

Step 2: Complete the registration process

  • After confirming your data in the e-mail, complete the registration by providing additional information regarding your business and contact data.

  • Please note that we need a valid tax ID for dealers in the EU.

  • By clicking “Complete registration”, your account is created.

  • Your account is then being reviewed. You will receive another email asking for further information about your business because we want to ensure that we give our licenses only to professional auto-tuning shops.

Step 3: Account unlocked

  • After your account and the information you provided have been reviewed, the account is approved and unlocked.

  • You can log into xHP with your account credentials and reach the Dashboard (see information below).

All unlocked cars are tied to your company account (with the email address you registered with). Sharing your account is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate termination. Customers can purchase Upgrade Licenses to transfer a dealer unlock to their account. More about Upgrade Licenses.


Dashboard

After you log into your xHP account (via the app or desktop), you will be greeted by the xHP Pro Dashboard.

The Dashboard provides an overview of your xHP customers and their vehicles. Here, you can edit customer names and vehicle plates and bring up your invoices. The backend will create one invoice per vehicle.


Flashpoints on dealer map

Every registered xHP Pro tuner has its own “Flashpoint.” This is the address of the workshop, shown on the dealer map on the xHP website.

Flashpoints are key to getting customers to your site. Over 30.000 people visit our website every month. When they look for a workshop nearby, they enter their address and the nearest flashpoints are shown on the dealer map. That way, customers know they can visit you to get an xHP tune.

If you have more than one workshop, please contact us at support@xAutomotive.com with your subsidiary address, and we create another flashpoint for you. Be sure to provide all the details (company name, phone, address, city, country, etc.)

Please contact us if you don’t want your address shown on the dealer map.

You will find your active flashpoints on the xHP Pro dealer backend.

Billing

You might see invoices for purchases made via PayPal in the past.
The app will lock once the vehicle limit is reached, one or more bills are outstanding, or if one of your bills is due in more than 21 days.

Please always settle your bills promptly. Your account will lock after the billing period has expired.

All Dealers must buy an xHP Dealer Credit Pack (incl. 5 Universal Credits) in advance from our Webshop!


Settings/Profile

This is where you can view/edit your billing address. By default, this is the address you entered when registering your company, which is used to create your first Flashpoint automatically.

You can change the billing address at any time. This won't affect your Flashpoint address. All vehicles flashed through this account will be billed to the main address. xHP won't bill subsidiaries.

How to unlock customer vehicles with xHP Pro

Make sure you are logged in as an xHP Pro Dealer. App behaviour and user interface will change for xHP Pro Dealers.

Buying dealer credits is only available to xHP Pro users.

Dealer unlocks do NOT allow the end user to use the xHP Flashtool app on their car. The end user will need to purchase an additional “Upgrade license” or flash the car themselves with a regular end user licence.

xHP Pro Vehicle Unlocks are not transferable between customer cars, xHP Pro dealers or directly to customers.

All unlocked cars are tied to your company account (with the email address you registered with). Sharing your account is strictly forbidden and will result in the immediate termination of your account.


xHP Pro Dealer - Buying Credit Packs

To purchase Credit Packs, please use your xHP Pro Account email address to order from our webshop. This will ensure that your credits are automatically added to your Pro Account within minutes of purchase.

Your credit balance is displayed in the xHP App under "Credits".
The “Credits” menu can be found after clicking “More” in the app's bottom bar.

Your current balance and how many credits you need for a vehicle unlock can also be found online on your xHP Pro dealer account’s page: https://xhppro.xhpflashtool.com/pro/app/user/credits

Under “Credits” in the xHP App, you will find your current credit balance and how much a vehicle unlock costs you in universal credits.

Buy four or more Dealer Credit Packs, and you will automatically receive a 15% discount at checkout.

Newly registered xHP Pro Dealers must purchase at least one Credit Pack before their account gets unlocked.

xHP Pro Credit Packs are non-refundable and non-transferable items!


The 24h Trial-Period

xHP Pro offers a 24-hour trial period for each vehicle

If your customer is unsatisfied with their xHP Tune, you can "Uninstall xHP" and "Cancel Vehicle Unlock" within 24 hours of the initial unlock! This is done by uninstalling the Tune from the vehicle. Once the uninstall is complete, press the three white dots in the top right corner and select 'Cancel Vehicle Unlock'.

After doing this, the Credits you used to unlock the car will be automatically added back to your account.

This function is only active if the trial period is still running and the vehicle is in an "uninstalled" state. The app will inform you accordingly.

Please note that the trial period starts immediately after unlocking and NOT after flashing.

If you have unlocked a vehicle to be flashed later, you must cancel the unlock immediately.

The 24-hour trial period is only available for selected dealers who have been active in the xHP dealer community for some time.

If you do not cancel the unlock within 24 hours, as described above, you will be credited automatically. Please make sure you cancel any unused unlocks and contact us immediately if you encounter any problems.


Upgrade Licenses

xHP Pro end users can now upgrade from a Dealer Unlock to a full xHP Flashtool Licence, including the Map Pack, using the “Upgrade license”. This will give them access to all the application's functionality as a non-xHP Pro dealer user.

These licences can be accessed via a link in our webshop that is not visible to regular users, so they cannot accidentally buy the wrong licence.

Suggested Pricing for Customers & Dealer pricing

Dealers can use xHP at a significantly lower price than end users. The difference between our webshop price (Flash licence + map pack) and the reseller price should be the margin you earn. Please do NOT use this margin to offer xHP "on the cheap" to your customers. Although we cannot enforce this pricing scheme, we strongly encourage you to keep the market alive and play fair with other merchants.

Selling by undercutting prices in your region will lead to a ruined market in the long run. We take reports of dumping very seriously and will take action in the case of severe undercutting and multiple reports.

Please offer xHP at the latest prices on our website. Customers use your time, tools, and infrastructure to get their car flashed, just as they do when they bring in parts for installation. Before quoting a customer, make a fair calculation of xHP credit + labour + infrastructure + overheads.

  • For selected xHP dealers only: You can offer your customers a 24-hour trial period, after which the flash can be cancelled with no financial risk.
