Account selection

xDelete uses user accounts to store all data (vehicles, custom settings, licences) across devices. To do this, you need to create a Login. Do this in the sidebar menu.

You have two options:

  • Create a login manually in xDelete

  • Use social logins (Google, Facebook, Apple)

This login scheme started in March 2020 with the introduction of the iOS version of xDelete. In previous versions, the app used the Google Play Store email in the background to identify the customer's account.

Customers before April 2020
Existing customers need to use the same email they use on Google Play to regain access to previously purchased items. For example, if your Google Play email was xyz@gmail.com, you can either manually create an account with xyz@gmail.com or use one of the social logins with the same email to regain access. It doesn't matter which option you choose, as long as you use the same email!

There is a separate Login for xDelete Pro users! xDelete Pro users can find this Login in the lleft-hand menu at the bottom and use their xHP Pro dealer account to log in.

Once logged in, the application displays the list of vehicles on the "

Overview" page, which acts as the main screen.

    For all flashing operations, either click on the car icon in the top right corner or manually select a car. For click "CONNECT NEW CAR" or select a vehicle manually.

    Buying licenses & redeeming voucher codes

    xDelete licenses can be purchased from https://www.xautomotive.com/products/xdelete. Once you have completed your purchase, you will receive a one or more voucher code codes via email, which can be redeemed within the xDelete app.

    To redeem a voucher code, you must first connect & save to your vehicle.
    You can find out how to do this here.

    Once your car is savedshows up in the app, you will can find it on the "My Cars" page of xDelete. After opening the car, you will see a button called "Redeem voucher".marked “redeem” next to the "Flash License”

    Simply tap the button and enter the voucher code you received to associate this item with your car. Please double-check that you have selected the correct car.

    Once a voucher code has been redeemed, your voucher can no longer be used. This cannot be undone.

    By redeeming the voucher code, you bind the licence to the email account you are currently logged into and the selected vehicle (VIN).
    Licences cannot be transferred to other users. See our FAQ on this.

    Car page

    On the cars page, you will find the "Configure xDrive Now" button at the bottom, a refresh button 3 white dots at the top right to re-sync your device with our servers, and right next to it, behind the three white dots, the miscellaneous functions:

    • Read fault codes

    • Clear fault codes

    • Calibrate clutch

    • Recode ECU

    • Full Backup Flash

    • Live Data

    , where you can do the following:

    • Flash Operations
      Lets you see past flash operations

    • Edit Photo

    • Delete Vehicle
      Lets you delete cars you no longer need to be displayed in the app.
      Does not uninstall xDelete from the car!

    When clicking the “Diagnostics” button you will be able to:

    • Read Fault Codes

    • Look at the Live Data

    • Recode the VGS
