How can I check if my car is supported?
There are 3 three ways:
Download the xHP app, connect to your vehicle and click on the connect button“Flash this car”. xHP will now tell you if your car is supported.
Use the Check Support feature in the left sidebar Menu bottom bar menu of the App! It allows you to browse all supported cars , by their Type Code (4th to 7th digit of the car's VIN).
Use the Check Support feature at www.xhpflashtool.com

My car is not listed as supported! Can I get a custom map?
As it takes a lot of development to support a vehicle, there are many reasons why a particular vehicle or powertrain may not be supported. Current developments will be announced on our social media channels, and you can follow the development status there.
We are unable to provide custom maps for unsupported vehicles.

I have an Alfa Romeo/Audi/Jaguar/Mini etc. Can I use xHP?
Although your car may use the "same" ZF transmission, each manufacturer uses their own proprietary software to operate these transmissions. We are entirely focused on BMW and have no plans to expand to other brands.
We also do not support BMW's FWD platform models. (e.g. Active Tourer, Mini, 1-Series F40 etc.)

I want to change my gearbox to a different type. Does xHP support this?
In general, xHP does not support "mules", i.e. vehicles that use non-factory engine and transmission combinations.
We only support transmission & car combinations that are factory spec.
If you still want to swap your transmission, please make sure it is the correct type for your car's type code. Also, ensure you properly uninstall xHP from your old transmissions before installing the new ones.
Once you uninstalled xHP from the old gearbox, installed the new one and connected it to the xHP app, you must contact us to renew your licence.
We offer support to certain non-factory Drivetrain combinations via our Custom Map Service.
Please make sure to contact get in touch with our support at support@rbttuning.com first before buying a custom map.
Swaps are very individual tasks and need to be cleared in advance. Different pricing may be applied.
