xHP is developed for flashing designed to flash ZF6HP/ZF8HP and DCT (Dual - Clutch) automatic transmissions in BMW vehiclesBMW vehicles. It won’t connect nor operate won't connect to or work on other vehicle car brands or other automatic transmissions.
The ZF6HP/8HP’s were BMWs ZF8HP were BMW's automatic transmissions of choice for nearly their complete lineup, almost their entire range from the early 2000s till todayto the present day, while the DCT was mainly used mostly in M -Carscars.

Mapping a transmission is a tedious task and has to be done on the road, specific for to a certain particular vehicle. Therefore, we can’t support “all” BMW’s in one sweep. Here you can learn That's why we can't support "all" BMWs in one go. Read more about how we are mapping map transmissions here.
There are multiple several ways to check if your car is supported by xHP:

  • You can easily Check Support check support for your car with using the xHP Flashtool app. In the left Sidebar Menu click on “Check Support”. The App Click on "Check Support" in the left sidebar menu. The app offers 3 options. If you already have the necessary hardware in place, you can just simply connect to your car. This function feature is always available , without having to create a Login login in xHP.

With this This method allows you can to check what which custom options are supported for your specific car , by clicking on the car and then on “flash settings”. All clicking on "Flash Settings".
Any options that are not “greyed” 'greyed out' are available.

  • If you want would like to check search offline, please select your vehicle from the dropdown drop-down boxes below or just simply enter your Type type code to search our database. The Type Code type code is the 4th to 7th Digit 4th to 7th digit of your vehicles VIN!  If you can’t
    If you can't find your vehicle there, it is 's not supported yet. If your vehicle car is supported, the App app will present show you the details on of your car and you can browse through the features of each Stage level for your car!

  • Alternatively, you can also look at our “Check Support” use the "Check Support" feature on our Homepage home page. We do our best to keep this list as correct accurate and up-to-date as possible. However, BMW has regularly changed TCUs regularly during the production lifecycle and there may be cases where your vehicle is on the list but still not supported. These cases are rare , but cannot be 100% avoided 100%.
