Log into your app with your email address used for registration. More on app functions.
The app will show the car list on the “my cars” page, which acts as the main screen.
Prepare your car and connect to your vehicle, using the required hardware. See here more details on how to connect to your customers car. See here which hardware to use.
For all flash operations, either click the “Connect” button on the main screen to identify your vehicle, or select it directly from the list on the “My cars” screen. Then open your car. You will see a lightning bolt button on the bottom right side in the app. Click it to open the menu:
Diagnostics - Read and delete fault codes stored in your TCU (transmission control unit)
Settings - turn your cars settings on/off
Flash - opens the Flash menu: Select between different stages (OTS maps), custom functions/maps and backup, to further tweak the OTS maps. Click on the map to see a detailed description, click on the right (flash symbol) to flash. When doing this for the first time, or after a re-install of the app, xHP will prompt you to download the files needed for this car. If you are connected through a Wi-Fi adapter to your vehicle, you need to switch back to cellular or your local Wi-Fi for carrying out the download. See here details for flashing your car.

Dealer Unlocks do NOT allow the enduser to use the xHP Flashtool app with their car. For this the enduser needs an additional “Upgrade license” or flash the car himself with a regular enduser license. |
