About the Customisation Module

The Customization Module customisation module offers many functions to tweak your transmissions behavior change the behaviour of the transmission to your liking! All functions work on your stock calibration , as well as on our OTS Mapsmaps! You are free to change Shiftpoints can change the shift points for D- and S-mode, adjust Shift-Speeds the shift speeds or firmness for each shift (where available) or even adjust the your car's Launch Control function of your vehicle! With our Import/Export feature you ! You can also share your settings on Social Media social media or Import import settings from other users with our import/export feature!
The Custom. Module Customisation module offers 2 types of functions: Absolute or relative.
Absolute functions are those where you set a fixed parameter , which is then will be applied to every each file that is flashed. For instance example, you could set a Torque Limiter torque limit of 500 Nm in 1st Geargear. This limiter will then be applied to every Map map you flash, wether whether it is your stock calibration, an OTS Maps map or a self-built custom file you have created. Every map will have this limiter applied, no matter regardless of what value was written in the Base-Filebase file.

Relative functions work in a slightly different way, as you can apply a delta to the flashed Mapmap. The Shiftmap Editor is one such a relative function, where xHP will readout reads the respective corresponding values from every Map each flashed map and change changes them according to your settings. This makes it easy to adjust complex things like Shiftpointsshift points.
Instead of having to worry worrying about what absolute value to set for a given shift (e.g. 1-2 in D-Modemode) , at a given Throttlethrottle/RPM rpm position, you just simply apply a percentage delta in percent to the base settings already stored in the Mapmap. Every
Each relative function is configured through easy Sliders, which using simple sliders that allow you to set a positive or negative percentage for a given parameter. For instanceexample, if you want your 2-3 shift to happen occur earlier, you just simply set a negative Value (for instance: value (e.g. -15%) for this that shift and xHP will apply -15% to the complete entire map for the 2-3 shift. This always happens within certain boundaries and will be auto-adjusted, so limits and is automatically adjusted so that the actual values applied to the Map map still make sense. The same principle applies to all functions , where you are able to can set a positive or negative percentage in xHP.

This chapter will explain every explains each custom function available, separate separately for 6-Speedspeed, 7-Speedspeed E-Series, 7-Speed speed F-Series or 8-Speed Transmissionsspeed gearboxes! Most functions are available for all models, however but some functions may not be possible on available for certain vehicles cars due to technical restrictions.
The Custom Module will show such functions greyed outdisplay these functions in grey.

Info

To see what your specific car can support, please connect the app to your car and click on it. Then in the lower right corner, click on the blue “flash” icon 'flash' icon in the bottom right corner and then click on the gear symbolicon.

This can be done without acquiring purchasing a licenselicence.

Import/Export Function

By You can quickly export your current custom settings by pressing the "3 - white - dots" in the upper-top right corner of the Customization Module you can quickly export your currents custom settingsCustomisation module. The settings can either be stored on your phone saved in a small file , or they can be forwarded to any Social Media Channel your device is offering on your phone or sent to any social media channel on your device (e.g. WhatsApp). You can also easily import settings from any other xHP -User within seconds to user into your car in seconds. Compatibilty
Compatibility is limited between transmission gearbox types. 6-Speed Settings speed settings can only be imported to other 6-speed cars, 8-Speed speed to 8-Speed speed and 7-Speed speed to 7-Speedspeed. Some settings of from 7-Speed speed F-Series cars are not compatible to with 7-Speed speed E-Series cars and are therefore voidedinvalid, yet but the import in general will generally still work.

Please bear in mind, note that the customization customisation module has many "relative" Settingssettings. (e.g. Shiftpoints) This means that it will make makes little sense to import Shift-Point shift point settings from a 550i to a 320d. The app application will still change the maps in the 320d accordingly, but those these will of course not lead to result in the same shiftpoints shift points as in the 550i.
